The breeze is telling me
it’s yuletide season again
and it also reminds me
of the tears and pain

walking alone this
well lit city sidewalks
only reminds me how broken
i am when you left me

These cold nights that winter brings
serves as a rendezvous for forgotten sentiments

The wind is telling me
it’s christmas time again
and it also reminds me
of fear and shame

These cold nights that winter brings
serves as a coffin for wasted adulation..
